How to track a client’s progress
See a client’s strength, volume, and personal records per exercise, record a tested 1RM, and compare progress photos over time.
Last updated 2026-06-12
Once a client is logging workouts, their progress charts build themselves. Here's how to read them, record a real max, and use progress photos to show change the scale can't.
- 1
Open the client’s progress
Go to Clients, open the client, and select the Progress tab. Pick an exercise to see its estimated 1RM over time, total volume per session, and — for timed movements — duration, plus a full set history with the top set flagged and a timeline of every personal record.

Record a tested 1RM
After a real max-out, choose Record 1RM on the exercise. Enter the date and the weight — directly, or by entering the weight and reps to calculate it — plus an optional note. Tested maxes take priority over estimated ones everywhere, including strength-ratio analysis.

Compare progress photos
The client adds front, side, and back photos from their app. On the client profile you'll see the four most recent — open View all for the full dated gallery, or Compare to drag a slider between any two dates. Photos are private and served through short-lived signed links.
